Profile: Medior/Senior Front End Developer

Assignment description

For this assignment, you will work in a dynamic environment where innovation is part of our DNA. As an Angular developer, you will play a key role in developing cross-application features based on a REST architecture in combination with pure front-end technologies.

Main responsibilities

As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be part of a dedicated scrum team. Your main responsibilities are:

• Build, deploy, and maintain Angular applications within Azure.

• Coach more junior developers to craft the solution so it meets the requirements and design.

• Optimize developer tooling.

• Challenge business requirements.

• Be an expert on JavaScript and front-end frameworks, collaborate with developers, business partners, architects, and other groups to identify the technical and functional needs of systems.

• Contribute to the organization’s norms and coding standards, software design best practices, security, and architecture strategy.

Qualifications and personal characteristics

• University or College of Higher Education degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering, or related subjects (or comparable training).

• Angular (version 9+).

• SCSS.

• HTML5.

• TypeScript.

• RxJS state management and observable streams.

• NX, mono-repo architecture, shared code, code generation.

• Storybookjs.

• Unit testing (Jest) & UI testing (Cypress).

• CI/CD (Azure DevOps).

• Git & Gitflow.

• Proven business acumen and a profound interest in driving value-creating innovation.

• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.

• Leadership skills and structured way of working.

• Experience with integrating (mobile) applications and back-end systems.

• Some knowledge of Azure cloud.

Additional information

• Senior or a good medior.

• Extrovert + communication skills.

• Upon good performance, extension of 1 year.

• Two office days in the beginning: Tuesday and Thursday.
